We choose only the best ingredients from suppliers close to our bakeries to ensure we can produce the tastiest products for our valued customers.
Pepperell’s Meats are exceptionally fine butchers and a well-established family run business since 1965. Located on the outskirts of Harleston, they supply Blythburgh pork and other free range meats which we use for our famous sausage rolls and hog roasts. Hog roasts are available at our Harleston Market Place and Thoroughfare bakeries each Wednesday and Friday and our Diss bakery on Fridays.
McCarthys is East Anglia’s leading wholesaler in fresh fruit and vegetables with over 135 years’ experience in the market.
All the flour used in our bakeries is milled at Marriage’s based in Chelmsford, Essex. Marriage’s mill a range of bread making and culinary flours, organic varieties and speciality flours including stoneground wholemeal flour traditionally milled on horizontal French burr stones. They select the best possible grains for consistent flour quality sourcing wheat from local Essex farmers wherever possible including family farms near Chelmer Mills.
